Located on the pedestrian crosswalk from Ottawa Rd 91(where this meets Wellington St. becoming Rideau St) to where you cross from the traffic light stop to the Chateau Laurier, there is a hole on the white lines and a crack extending across the road back to Ottawa Rd 91.
Yesterday afternoon my friend caught her foot in this hole (the size of two large footprints) and broke a bone in the front of her foot. Although this spot is small as potholes go, it is right on the painted cross lines where pedestrians cross to go to the Chateau Laurier; i.e., a popular tourist crossing. The hole needs a simple gravel fill-in for now to prevent further accidents and possible lawsuits.
